Televic Rail is hiring a Technical Sales Engineer, a key role supporting the commercial expansion of our LiveCoM Suite software and broader software portfolio aimed at European train operators. Among its core functions, the LiveCoM Suite manages audiovisual passenger information configuration and delivery through applications running on board railway vehicles, as well as in the cloud.

As part of the newly formed business line focused on Train Operators, you will work closely with Sales, Product Management and Engineering teams to translate customer needs into technically sound, scalable solutions.
You’ll play a crucial role in pre-sales engagements, solution design and supporting a compelling technical narrative to win deals and build trust with our growing customer base.

Working as a Technical Sales Engineer means:

  • Act as the technical counterpart to the Train Operators during the full sales cycle – helping to qualify opportunities, engage customers and shape solution proposals.

  • Analyze customer requirements and value drivers and translate them into tailored technical solutions using Televic’s LiveCoM Suite and associated systems.

  • Refine and lead technical presentations, product demos and architecture discussions with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Create and maintain highquality technical and sales collateral, solution overviews and tender support materials.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (Product Management, R&D, Engineering) to ensure solution feasibility, accurate scoping and alignment with the product roadmap.

  • Support proof-of-concept projects and technical onboarding for new clients.

  • Provide valuable feedback from the field to help shape product development and go-to-market strategies.

How you can add value to our team

  • You hold a degree in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

  • You have 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, solution engineering or system engineering role, ideally in SaaS, mobility or transport industries.

  • You can understand complex customer environments and translate requirements into scalable, reliable solutions.

  • Strong presentation and communication skills, able to engage both technical experts and business stakeholders.

  • Experience with software system integration and/or cloud platforms is a strong plus.

  • You enjoy working in a crossfunctional, international environment and thrive on solving real-world problems.

  • Fluency in English is essential, other languages are an advantage.

  • You are willing to travel up to 30% of your time.
