The Details
You collaborate in the definition of the subsystems level architecture with focus on devices and embedded platforms.
You translate (sub)systems requirements into technical specifications.
You use and maintain the Yocto build system and develop software based on the latest LTS mainline kernel.
You configure the different Linux frameworks according to device specs.
You develop and adapt (logical) device drivers, in cooperation with expert consultants on the one hand and complex software code and unit tests for Linux on the other.
You document the developed software and provide support towards QA testing.

About You
You are an experienced embedded software developer with skills in C, C++ or another Object Oriented Program language.
You have (broad) knowledge of Linux environments and frameworks such as ALSA, DAPM, network manager, GPIO framework,…
You have experience with build tools such as Yocto, Source code control (git) and continuous integration.
Experience with audio communication and processing is a plus.
You enjoy working in a multidisciplinary and international team to combine different technologies into a performant & configurable system.
