INTERNSHIP – Host web application via VNC server on a PIS computer

Your role:

A customer requires all subsuppliers to expose their applications through a common VNC-based interface as part of a new platform initiative. This internship involves setting up a VNC server on a Televic PIS (Passenger Information System) computer to remotely display a web application that runs in a browser on the same device. This is a setup that has not been implemented on our PIS hardware before. In addition to the implementation, the internship includes researching and evaluating the performance impact of running both the VNC server and the web application on the same embedded device.
