Televic Conference develops, manufactures, and markets conferencing solutions to high-profile customers worldwide (e.g., the United Nations, the European Parliament, the French Senate, etc.).
We are looking for a talented Technical Sales Consultant to join our Sales team.
As a Technical Sales Consultant at Televic, you will play a pivotal role in the sales process by providing expert technical assistance and guidance to the sales team and customers. Together with another Senior Technical Sales Consultant your primary responsibility will be to ensure that end-customers and AV consultants fully understand the technical advantages of Televic’s conference equipment, helping to position Televic as the preferred solution in the market, increase visibility and ultimately help in increasing sales revenue.

Role responsibilities
Technical Pre-Sales Guidance:
Participate in joint customer visits with the Regional Sales Managers to deliver the technical narrative, ensuring that customers are well-informed about Televic’s conference equipment and its benefits.
Work proactively in the pre-bid phase to influence decision-makers, guiding them to choose Televic as the preferred solution.
Collaborate closely with the Regional Sales Managers to develop technical strategies that support sales objectives.
Actively engage in the “(re)connect” campaign by reaching out directly to large institutions, parliaments and rental companies
2. Technical Liaison to AV Consultants:
Act as the primary technical liaison to AV consultants, maintaining regular communication to keep them updated on Televic’s latest technologies and product offerings.
Provide technical input and assistance to AV consultants, ensuring they have the necessary information to specify Televic products in their projects.
Involve Regional Sales Managers in discussions around key projects, ensuring alignment and leveraging their market insights to strengthen Televic’s positioning.
3. Product Demonstrations:
Conduct high-level, impactful demonstrations of Televic’s conference systems both on-site and remotely.
Tailor demonstrations to the specific needs and interests of the audience, highlighting the unique selling points of Televic’s solutions.
4. Technical Expertise & Training:
Provide design training and guidance to distributors, integrators and consultants, enhancing their understanding and capability in using Televic products.
Stay current with the latest trends, technologies, and innovations in the conference equipment industry, particularly those related to Televic’s product portfolio and inform product management on a regular base.
5. Provide Customer and Market Feedback:
Gather and analyze feedback from customers, AV consultants, and the market to help inform product management and improve customer satisfaction.
Provide insights and recommendations to the sales and product development teams based on market needs and trends.
6. Integration with 3rd Party Solutions:
Expand on the integration capabilities of Televic’s products with 3rd party software and hardware solutions, demonstrating how these integrations can enhance overall system performance.
Establish and maintain relationships with local branches of 3rd party companies, fostering collaborations that incentivize joint business opportunities.
7. Collaboration with Product Management:
Work closely with the product management team to relay insights on market needs and emerging trends.
Explain and check specific project requirements with Product Management to inform Regional Sales Managers and customers on feasibility and timing.
Involve Product Management in customer, consultant and distributor meetings when needed.
8. Attendance at Exhibitions, Events, and Trade Fairs:
Represent Televic at industry exhibitions, events, and trade fairs to showcase the company’s conference equipment.
Engage with potential customers, AV consultants, and industry professionals to build relationships and generate leads.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitor offerings through participation in these events.
9. Documentation & Reporting in the CRM tool:
Document customer interactions and technical engagements in CRM to maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for future reference and synchronize all relevant information with the Regional Sales Manager
You hold a Degree in Technical and/or Commercial Engineering or you built similar qualifications through solid experience;
You can offer at least five years of experience in a sales engineering, pre-sales or sales solutions position within a similar sector;
You have a high interest and affinity with the AV world, our products trigger your curiosity and enthusiasm;
You have excellent communication skills and are keen on explaining technical solutions to a diverse audience;
You bring commercial experience to understand and anticipate on market trends;
Analytical and data oriented, project management skills;
Team player who enjoys networking, building strategic relationships;
Fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch and French is an advantage;
The position is located in the HQ in Izegem, Belgium. We offer a balanced home-working possibility.
Travel is up to 40 to 50% of your time, mainly in Europe.
