Televic is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Coordinator to support daily shipping, receiving, and finished goods activities at our Sacramento facility.
Working closely with Production, this hands-on role is responsible for packing completed units, booking finished goods, receiving incoming shipments, preparing shipping documentation, and preparing finished products for shipment. The ideal candidate takes pride in accuracy, organization, teamwork, and ensuring products are handled carefully and prepared correctly and on time.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Pack completed units received from Production according to established packaging and handling requirements.
Book completed production units into finished goods accurately and on time.
Receive daily incoming ground shipments and verify quantities and conditions.
Generate packing slips and required documentation for outgoing orders.
Prepare finished goods for ground and freight shipment, including palletizing, wrapping, labeling, and securing products for transportation.
Stage completed shipments for carrier pickup.
Report damaged, missing, or incorrect shipments promptly.
Maintain clean and organized shipping, receiving, and finished goods areas.
Support inventory accuracy through proper product handling and transaction recording.
Work closely with Production and Operations to support customer delivery schedules.
Follow all company safety, quality, packaging, and material handling procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications & SkillsÂ
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous shipping, receiving, packing, warehouse, fulfillment, or manufacturing experience preferred.
Basic computer skills and the ability to learn company inventory and shipping systems.
General experience with SAP or prior ERP experience is preferred.
Experience with packing slips, shipping documentation, palletizing, or freight preparation is a plus.
Experience with international shipments and familiarity with FedEx and WorldShip.
Strong attention to detail, organization, dependability, and follow-through.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow written and verbal instructions.
Forklift or pallet jack experience is a plus.
Physical RequirementsÂ
Ability to lift to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform warehouse-related activities throughout the workday.
Ability to safely perform packing, palletizing, and material-handling activities.
