Televic Rail US is seeking a detail-oriented Electromechanical Assembler to support the assembly of advanced onboard communication, passenger information, and rail technology systems.
This role involves precision assembly of electronic and mechanical components, including wire preparation, crimping, connector termination, cable routing, labeling, testing, and documentation. Products are rugged in the field but often delicate during assembly, requiring a high level of care, consistency, and craftsmanship.
The ideal candidate has strong fine-motor skills, takes pride in clean, accurate work, and thrives in a structured manufacturing environment where quality and traceability matter.
Key Responsibilities
Assemble electromechanical rail products, subassemblies, cables, harnesses, connectors, and electronic components.Â
Perform precision wire stripping, crimping, pin insertion, connector termination, and cable routing.Â
Work with small, delicate components requiring precision handling and close attention to detail.
Use hand tools, torque drivers, crimp tools, and precision assembly equipment.Â
Read and follow assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, bills of materials, and digital work instructions.Â
Verify correct part numbers, labels, serial numbers, and scan materials into the production tracking system.Â
Perform visual inspection and basic functional testing of assemblies.Â
Maintain accurate production documentation and support full product traceability.Â
Follow ESD, quality, safety, and manufacturing procedures.Â
Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain an organized work area using 5S principles.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.Â
2+ years of assembly, manufacturing, electronics assembly, cable assembly, or technician experience.Â
Experience using hand tools and precision assembly tools.Â
Experience reading drawings, assembly instructions, or wiring diagrams.Â
Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail.Â
Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.Â
Preferred Qualifications
Experience crimping contacts onto wires, including small-gauge precision contacts.Â
Experience with torque drivers and torque-controlled assembly tools.Â
Experience in electronics assembly, cable/harness assembly, aerospace, rail, medical device, or other high-reliability manufacturing.Â
Experience working in serialized manufacturing environments with barcode scanning, labels, lot control, or traceability systems.
Familiarity with ESD-sensitive assembly environments.
